History
The Tulane MakerSpace logo was originally designed as a 3D-object using a combination of Solidworks and AutoDesk MeshMixer along with open source tool models that were distributed online. The tool models were later extrapolated to 2D-images and the logo was recreated using those images in Inkscape. Later the 2D-logo was cleaned up in Inkscape to reduce the number of unnecessary lines and simplify editing the logo, specifically in terms of utilizing it with a laser cutter.
