This is advanced training to teach the user how to perform CAM (Computer Aided Machining), on the Tormach 15L Slant Pro CNC Lathe.
Step One
-Download Media:CNC Lathe CAM Training.pdf or from [[1]] and read through the entire document.
-Download the training piece, tool library
and post-processor
and then complete the first two chapters, but read through the entire document and make note of anything you will want to ask your Training Ninja.
-Once you have an .nc file created, move on to step two.
Step Two
Contact a training Fab Tech to schedule an appointment. A list of approved Fab Techs is available in the MakerSpace.
-Set up a time with a Training Fab Tech to complete the widget in person on the Tormach 15L Slant Pro CNC Lathe in the MakerSpace.
