Description

Illustrator is vector graphics software that can be used to design and manipulate images to be sent to a laser cutter. It can also be used to create sketches that can be imported into 3d design software.

As part of a larger suite of graphic design programs, Illustrator and CorelDraw are professional-grade programs often used for designing web graphics.

Availability

Adobe Illustrator is proprietary software, although Tulane currently maintains a site-license for Tulane-owned computers only as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud. This license is not available for private computers or student computers.
