CNC Lathe Training

This is advanced training to allow the user privileges on the Tormach CNC lathe.

Step One

Read through the step-by-step manual linked below and contact a training Ninja to make an appointment to do the hands-on portion of the training. Allow 3 hours. https://tulane.app.box.com/s/7npmpsbj1yfwr7ezamiqlu98td63da24

Step Two

Working with your training Ninja, create this part from a piece of 1" diameter aluminum rod

to demonstrate your ability to use the lathe.

This training allows for use of the lathe in "conversational" mode. If you want to use the CNC lathe to create a part that was designed in Fusion360 or Solidworks, ask your training Ninja to get you started on this additional step.
