The iSense scanner [1] is available to create .obj files from sequential photos taken with an iPad camera. It doesn't have engineering-quality resolution, but it's OK for generating a 3-d file of a head or medium-sized object. Scanning takes 3-4 minutes. Meshmixer can be used to edit the .obj file generated by the iSense software, and Cura can read the file directly for printing. See Dr. Walker to use the iPad and attached iSense. A higher resolution Creaform scanner [2] will be available in the permanent Maker Space.
